Released on May 1st 2026, This Must Be Progress is a collection of instrumental and sample-based jams in which I explore new techniques for sound generation and mutation.The album art and promotional card were created from a found magazine image, originally generated by DalE-3 for the snake-oil–I mean, vitamin supplement industry.

The video for Cold Spring uses animated GIFFs and scanner-art to create some trippy effects. The guy doing the clapping is Orson Wells.

This noisy but cathartic song is the first single from Only Boredom Will Save Us Now (2025). Any resemblances to past or present political regimes are purely coincidental. The “b-side” is the exclusive track “I Used to Be a Planet (Event Horizon Mix).” This latter originally existed in a different form, which got accidentally erased by one of my sequencers. The resulting recording is an attempt to recreate the lost original from memory.
